Library reserve is a temporary collections of books, journal articles, etc... are set aside (usually located at the Circulation Desk) by professors and/or librarians for students use. Reserved items are intended to supplement, not replace, course textbooks purchased by students.

Use interlibrary loan to request items not owned by NJIT libraries. This may include books, journal articles, proceddings, reports and theses/dissertations. Interlibrary loan service is available to students, faculty and staff of NJIT. Check the online catalog and/or the journal locator before submitting an interlibrary loan request.
